We went for a nice long walk today. Yes, cold winds were blowing, but we were just happy to be together and surrounded by absolute beauty (we watched robins bathe, we watched a little leaguer peeing on a tree, we saw a lady with a dog smaller than an omelette – which she swaddled in a blanket and held like a baby, and much more).
And I want to restart E… W., but we still have House to catch up on and my wife is far too cute for me to ignore her for three hours.
So here’s the promise. Tomorrow I start fresh. Sunday is always a healthy review of the week; I’ll play a little catch-up (Sheffield is a Met?!? Madonna was denied a second adoption?!?! Bill O’Reilly just did a NEW column on ACORN?!?!) and start giving the people what they deserve (if not what they want).
Oh, and the Yankees have hit seven home runs in their last two games.
Is this the season of the 500-home run team? The math doesn’t lie, people!
